How to Create Your First Order on Packely
Creating a 3D rendering project on Packely is quick and intuitive. Below is a complete guide to help you place your first order from start to finish.
Step 1: Select a Use Case
Start by choosing the type of delivery format you need for your images. You can select one or multiple options:
GS1 — All images will follow the GS1 product image standard, ready for use with GDSN-enabled datapools.
Amazon — Renderings will meet Amazon’s basic image specifications. (Note: We do not add text, graphics, or marketing content — only clean 3D images.)
Custom — Set your own file format, resolution, margins, clipping paths, and shadow preferences.
Step 2: Choose Your Angles
Click “Select Angles” to open the angle selector.
You’ll see 38 available options:
12 straight-on views
12 elevated (15°) views
12 lowered (15°) views
Top and bottom angles
Each group is shown in its own row. Use the left and right arrows to browse. If you select the 360° option, all 12 angles in that row will be selected and delivered as a complete set.
Once you’ve selected the desired angles, click “Save Selection.”
Step 3: Add Product Details
To ensure a smooth production process, we require the following content:
Product name
GTIN number (barcode)
Product width and height
Reference images of the packaging (empty or filled)
Artwork or label design used on the product
High-resolution images of the product itself (only required if the product is visible through transparent packaging)
For a full list of content requirements, see: Preparing Your Content for 3D Rendering
Step 4: Order Summary
You’ll now see a summary of your project including selected use case(s), angles, and product info.
Double-check everything before continuing. If you need to make edits, you can go back and update any step.
Step 5: Payment
Once everything looks correct, click “Continue to Payment.”
A secure Stripe window will open where you can complete payment.
If you’ve used Packely before, your saved payment details will appear automatically for faster checkout.
We use Stripe, one of the world’s most trusted payment providers, to ensure your data is always safe.
Step 6: Done — What Happens Next?
Once your order is submitted:
Our team will review your uploaded content
If anything is missing, you’ll receive an email asking for updates
If everything is in place, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your estimated delivery date
Delivery typically takes up to two business days, depending on project size and complexity.
You’ll be notified by email when your renderings are ready to review or download from your dashboard.
