Content Checklist
Preparing Your Content for 3D Rendering
To ensure we can start your project without delays, it’s important that all required content is submitted correctly. Below is a detailed checklist of what we need to produce accurate, high-quality 3D product renderings.
Please make sure the following information and files are included when placing your order:
1. Product Name
The full, accurate name of the product as it should appear in your records and data pools.
2. GTIN Number
The 13-digit GTIN (Global Trade Item Number), also known as the product barcode. This ensures we can match your rendering with the correct item in GDSN-compliant databases.
3. Product Dimensions
We require the exact outer dimensions of the product packaging:
Width
Height
Please measure in millimeters (mm) for accuracy.
4. Packaging Reference Images
Photos of the physical packaging from multiple angles. These can be images of the empty packaging or with the product inside. The purpose is to understand structure, shape, and material.
5. Artwork / Design Files
The printed design or label artwork used on the product or its packaging. These files should be high resolution and preferably in a vector format (PSD, AI, EPS), or at minimum 300 DPI PNG.
6. High-Resolution Product Reference Images
Only required if the product itself is visible through transparent packaging.
This applies to items like:
Bread in clear bags
Cereal in partially transparent boxes
Products with plastic windows or see-through areas
In these cases, we need clear, high-resolution images of the actual product without packaging, taken from:
Front
Left side
Right side
Top
Bottom
This step is not needed for products like:
Bottled liquids
Canned goods
Fruit or vegetables
Anything fully enclosed in opaque packaging
Providing complete and accurate content allows us to begin production immediately, avoid unnecessary revisions, and deliver your 3D renderings as quickly as possible.
